20મી નવેમ્બરથી ભારતીય પાસપોર્ટ હોલ્ડર્સ માટે વધુ એક સુવિધા શરૂ થશે, OCI, વિઝા અને પાસપોર્ટ સુવિધા ટૂંક સમયમાં શરૂ કરવાનું આશ્વાસન

ભારતીય નાગરિકો માટે રાહતના સમાચાર છે કે ભારતીય હાઇકમિશને 20મી નવેમ્બરથી પોલીસ ક્લિયરન્સ સર્ટિફિકેટની સુવિધા ઓકલેન્ડ કોન્સુલેટ ઓફિસ ખાતેથી શરૂ કરી છે. 145 ન્યુ નોર્થ રોડ, ઇડન ટેરેસ ખાતે આવેલા મહાત્મા ગાંધી સેન્ટરમાં હાલ કામચલાઉ ધોરણે ભારતીય કોન્સુલેટ ઓફિસ શરૂ કરાઇ છે. જ્યાં 5મી સપ્ટેમ્બરથી ઘણી સેવાઓનો લાભ ભારતીય નાગરિકો લઇ ચૂક્યા છે.
એક અખબારી યાદીમાં ભારતીય હાઇકમિશને જણાવ્યું હતું કે OCI, પાસપોર્ટ અને વિઝા સર્વિસની શરૂઆત ટૂંક સમયમાં કરવામાં આવશે પરંતુ હાલ કોન્સુલેટ ઓફિસે નીચે પ્રમાણેની સર્વિસ કોન્સુલેટ ઓફિસ ખાતે શરૂ કરી છે.
i. Police Clearance Certificate (for foreign Passport holders);
ii. Police Clearance Certificate for traffic convictions/Taxi License/
Passenger endorsement (for foreign Passport holders);
iii. Attestation of affidavit, Declaration or Powers of Attorney, Company/
Trade documents;
iv. Confirmation of Driving license particulars;
v. Application for re-issue of International Driving Permit (IDP);
vi. Affidavit needed from parents when applying for child’s Passport in
India;
vii. Life Certificates & Attestation of pension papers of pensioners;
viii. NRI (Non-Resident Indian) Certificate;
ix. Certificate required for transportation of body/ashes back to India;
x. Registration of death of an Indian national; and
xi. Liquor Permit.
